Use
this program to update your EDIxl software with the most recent
version from the Unitech support site.

Tip
- the default installation drive is your local C: drive. If your
software is not installed on the C: you will see the following
screen notifying you of your installation drive and reminding
you to change the default drive when prompted during the installation
process; be certain to note the Destination folder if you receive
this message during the process. If your software is installed
on the C: drive you will not see this message.

- Double
click the Update Software button on the Dashboard.

- The
program will prompt you to install the latest UnitechEDI software.
Answer Y to continue, or N to cancel the process.

The program will ftp download the latest software from the Unitech
support site and then launch the installer.

Click the <Next> button at the welcome screen
|

Click the <Next> button at the readme file screen
|

On the Destination Location screen, verify the drive letter
of your installation path. The default is C:, if this is correct,
click next. If your software is not installed on the C: drive,
click the browse button and locate the correct drive for your
installation, then click <OK> to select it. When the correct
destination drive appears on the Destination Location screen,
click <Next> to continue the installation. nd!"

Click <Next> on the Start Installation screen.

Click <Finish> when the process has been completed.

The program will open the support request form; please indicate
in the Notes box that you have updated your software, insert
your initials in the reply to box and click the send request
button.

The program will prompt you to send files to Unitech. Answer
Y to automatically send a .zip file to the Unitech support site.
This file notifies us of your current software configuration
|
Note occasionally there are problems with the ftp connection
to the Unitech server. If the process does not complete, wait
a couple of minutes and try it again.
