Update Software
Use this program to update your EDIxl software to the most recent version
published on the UnitechEDI support site.
Tip: If you need to verify the installation
location of your EDIxl software:.
- Right click on the UnitechEDI icon on your desktop and
select Properties from the drop down menu.
- Click on the Program tab, and check the drive letter of the installation
in the cmd line: field.
- This program will prompt you to install the latest UnitechEDI
software.
- Enter Y to
continue, or N to
cancel the process.
- The program will download the latest software from the Unitech support
site and then launch an installer program.
- Note: If the download process
does not complete, wait a couple of minutes and try it again.
- At the installer program prompts:
- Click the Next button at the welcome screen
- Click the Next button at the readme file screen
- On the Destination Location screen, verify the drive letter of
your installation path.
- The default installation directory is C:\, if this
is correct, click next. If your software is not installed on
the C: drive, please be certain to change the entry on the screen
to the letter of the drive your software is installed on.
- When the correct destination drive appears on the Destination
Location screen, click Next to continue the installation.
- Click Next on the Start Installation screen.
- Click Finish when the process has been completed.
- The program will prompt you to send files to Unitech. Answer Y to automatically send a .zip file
to the Unitech support site. This file notifies us of your current software
configuration.
