Sending ASNs from Global

Notes: - The export file ASN.pending must be manually moved from the server to the EDI PC \857 folder. - Amazon has two trading partner codes; AMC for consolidated shipments and AMU for package shipments

1. Enter menu option 7a to Preprocess ASNs - this step converts the Global export file ASN.pending to the work file 857TOSRT.XXX from translation.
   

2. At the prompt:  Are You Sure? (Y/N)
   • Enter Y to continue or N to enter a different option.

3. The program will display the message Output to 857TOSRT.XXX
   • Press enter to continue

4. Enter menu option 8 to Process ASNs
   

5. At the prompt:  Are You Sure? (Y/N)
   • Enter Y to continue or N to enter a different option.

6. At the prompt:  Enter 3 character Trading Partner Code
   • Enter the code for the Trading Partner

7. At the prompt:  Are You Sure? (Y/N)
   • Enter Y to continue or N to enter a different option.

8. At the prompt:   Display Report? (Y/N)
   • Always answer Y to display the report. You can then print it , or just view it and close the display window
     

9. At the prompt:   Send ASN to ICC.Net Network? (Y/N)
   • If you answer Y and the file is successfully sent, then then 857TOSRT.XXX file will be cleared. If you answer N, or if the file is not sucessfully sent, then the file will not be cleared, and can be sent at a later time.
